How does this actually work?

You type a question, pick a spread, and the cards are drawn. The draw is random — that part is a coin toss and we will not pretend otherwise. The reading is not. Each card is interpreted in the position it landed in, against the question you asked, and then read as a set rather than one card at a time.

Is this a real reader or a machine?

Accepted Answer

Both, and we would rather say so than have you find out. The cards are drawn by algorithm — a shuffle and a coin flip, nothing more. The reading is written by a model working in the tradition of Rachel Pollack's Seventy-Eight Degrees of Wisdom: the image before the keyword, no dates, no diagnoses, no flattery, no telling you what to do. That is her method, applied to your spread. It is not her, and it is not a person typing to you at midnight. Pollack died in 2023; putting her name on generated text would be a lie whether or not anyone were left to object.

Question 3

Will this tell me what is going to happen?

No, and be careful of anyone who says yes. Cards describe the situation you are standing in and the forces that are live in it. They do not date-stamp events. If a reading tells you what to do, it has overstepped — what it should do is make the choice in front of you legible.

What do I get for free, and what do I pay for?

Free: the cards you drew, one keyword for each, and a one-line summary of the spread. Paid: the full reading — every card in context, how the cards talk to each other, the timeline, and three specific things to do next. The free part tells you where you are. The paid part tells you what to do about it.

Do I need an account?

Accepted Answer

No. There is no signup, no password, no email wall before the reading. If you buy the full reading you get a permanent link, and we can email it to you if you want — but you are never asked to register to use the site.

Is my question private?

Accepted Answer

Your question is used to generate the reading and is not published, shared, or attached to your name. We do not sell data. If you want to be certain, ask something specific to the situation rather than naming people.

Question 7

Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

The full reading is delivered the moment payment clears, which means it cannot be returned. If something went wrong — the reading never appeared, the page broke — write to us and we will fix it or refund it. What we do not refund is a reading you simply did not like the content of.

Is this a substitute for a doctor, a lawyer, or a therapist?

Accepted Answer

No. Readings are for reflection. They are not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and if your question needs one of those, it needs a professional rather than a deck of cards.
